Synopsis: A story of four generations of Korean immigrants. The story begins with forbidden love and moves into a saga of war and peace, love and separation, triumphs and retributions.
Kim Sun-Ja (Yoo Yeojung) was born and raised in Busan during the Japanese occupation. She met Koh Han-Su (Lee Minho) and fell in love with him. When she found out that he was married, she was already pregnant. Bae Isak, a local priest, saves her by marrying her. They move to Japan where they experience the contempt and discrimination and struggle to survive.
Based on the novel by Lee Ming-jin.

Girl lmh did really great in this drama, maybe it was the script that you found boring but his acting is perfect.

Mr. Lee Min Ho turns everything he touches into gold; and to be quite clear, he was mesmerizing in this role. I would enjoy looking at him even if he has a role washing dishes, just to see him raise his head and glance at the camera with his signature look would be enough!!!?

I also really like the depth to the plot in Pachinko. I didnt know much about the Japan-Korean war. Its such an important and sad part of Korean history. I love the way the drama depicts such hardship and sadness but all the way hope and happy moments still are still portrayed. Its ddefinitely a stand out drama.
LMH was incredible in this series. I’d go as far as to say, this is his best performance.
The web info says there are 13 episodes. Only 8 are loaded and there havent been any more on dramacool since 3 weeks ago???
Such a shame if we dont get to see the last episodes as its such high quality production and acting – a really good drama. Possibly Lee Min Ho’s best, although I also really like city hunter .

love this series. story of generations in less than 10 eps. compact. am sure there is a commercial reason but i really wonder why 1 ep is given weekly.

Loving the plot….on top of Lee min ho being a jerk in this one so far and the story taking us back and fro (change in times) it’s bearable can’t wait for episode 5
